Shortly after co-hosting Benji B’s latest BBC Radio 1 show, Virgil Abloh and Louis Vuitton have unveiled their Pre-Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
Coming just weeks before the presentation of LV’s SS20 collection at Paris Fashion Week, the traditional range is just the latest in the Artistic Director’s expanding mark at the luxury fashion house. With the collection, LV left the Chicago creative to transcend streetwear with its established aesthetic codes. Throughout the collection, Virgil offers his take on basics while reimagining traditionally formal items into street leaning pieces with oversized cuts and functional details. Elements of workwear and military garments are weaved seamlessly into the style codes of Louis Vuitton throughout the range.
