HANON Adds Premium Heritage Materials to Le Coq Sportif LCS R800

After working together on “The Good Agreement” sneaker in 2018, Scottish store HANON and French sports label Le Coq Sportif have reunited for the latest installment of the collaboration. The Made in France-themed LCS R800 continues to develop this theme, celebrating the relationship between France, Scotland and England by using traditional materials developed in each country.
The sneaker is manufactured in Angers in the West of France, and features an upper constructed from premium suede sourced in England and a technical cotton fabric developed by Scottish company Halley Stevensons. Each company involved in the sneaker has been in production for over 100 years. Additionally, the LCS R800 also comes with a microperfed pigskin on the lining and collar, as well as a plush suede insole.
The sneaker’s understated colorway sees sections of black and indigo sitting alongside off-white and tonal greys. The collaborative sneaker is then finished with dual branding on each heel and the tongue loops, as well as a nod to the French production in its stitching.
The HANON x Le Coq Sportif LCS R800 is set to release via the HANON web store on May 4.
