After working with Shayne Oliver of Hood By Air and Glenn Martens of Y/Project in 2018, Diesel has announced Samuel Ross and A-COLD-WALL* as the next label to collaborate with its Red Tag project. Currently, little has been announced about the collaboration, with only one image revealed, showing an acid-bleached hooded jacket complete with Diesel Red Tag label and A-COLD-WALL* branded zipper.
Announcing the collection, Diesel founder Renzo Rosso explained that he has “been following Samuel for a long time. I just love his innovative vision of sportswear, and I am very pleased to have him as the newest contributor to this project.” The Diesel Red Tag initiative is supported by Tomorrow, an agency which also invested in A-COLD-WALL* back in early 2018.
Speaking about the Red Tag project, Tomorrow’s Stefano Martinetto explained that it “brings together our network of relationships with emerging design talent and our partners and friends at Diesel… We are particularly happy of the collaboration with A-COLD-WALL* as Samuel and his team are part of the Tomorrow family, working with us across the full breadth of offerings of the Tomorrow platform.”
The A-COLD-WALL* x Diesel Red Tag collection is set to launch in November 2019, and will be available from select stockists as well as Diesel’s web store and its 10 best stores worldwide.
